Hospitality Intercom Systems
Intercom systems are a safe way to identify who is at your door or gate without you physically having to be there. Intercoms can be either video + audio or just audio. They can be expanded to include multiple doors and multiple monitoring stations.
Intercom systems can also be integrated with other security products such as CCTV, automatic gates and access control systems to provide an additional level of protection for you and your property.
For larger applications eg. buildings, complexes or resorts in Brisbane or the Gold Coast, we can incorporate the intercom system with access control security systems, security alarms, CCTV, lift controllers or whatever is required for that specific site.
For Guests: Simply follow the instructions on the screen or custom signage (organised by DASH). Enter the unit number and press bell.
For Residents: The intercom rings in the apartment, simply press talk or pickup the handset. Speak directly with your guest. Press the key button to allow door and lift access.
In most cases, YES. However we do always require a FULL site inspection before making any recommendations to a site. DASH employs fully qualified electricians and licensed cablers with plenty of previous experience and a complete understanding of cabling legislation as well as manufacturers specifications.
Possibly. Depending on the brand of intercom already installed. Some systems merely require a few components and video is good to go! With others it’s not so easy.
Depending on the size of the site sometimes a complete new intercom system can be more economical than upgrading the existing components.
Absolutely. Lift access can be programmed to release at the same time as the access door. Making intercom operation as simple as possible by using just 1 button.
Lift control can be “full access” or “floor by floor access”.
No. The security system will continue to work as it has previously. DASH also install, service and maintain access control and security systems so we know exactly what to do when it comes to integrating existing systems.
We understand exactly what’s involved when organising a new intercom installation or replacement. It’s no easy task and requires careful planning and communication between DASH and the building management/body corporate.
All DASH intercom systems are fully installed and programmed in our factory prior to arriving on-site. This reduces the time spent in each apartment greatly and means far less disruption to residents.
Each day a toolbox meeting is held between the managers and technicians to confirm apartment access depending on resident availability. We always keep everyone informed so there are no surprises.
